Pearl Anniversary

In 1985 today, my parents got married.

There are still happily married today, celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary.

These days it is so rare for a couple to keep this sacred promise and commitment (or any promise for that matter!) for a few years let alone 30 years; no matter what ups and downs they face together.

Especially today, I feel very lucky to have parents who still care for each other and for my sister and me to learn what love is.
